Developed for the Yas Cancer Patient Support Association in Kerman, the system connects treatment information with charitable support. Electronic patient records, enquiries, payments and in-kind assistance sit alongside the charity’s management activities. According to the organisation’s supplied information, the system supports follow-up for approximately 8,000 patients.
Pathology, radiotherapy, surgery, chemotherapy, transplant and other relevant histories are recorded in the patient file. This scope supports the administration and follow-up of care information; the software does not replace a clinician’s diagnosis or treatment decisions.
Patient payment records, food assistance and other in-kind support are registered and monitored. Donor and contribution management provide the other side of the picture, allowing the charity to follow its resources and support activities within one management and reporting environment.
Online administration and sales of silver-flower memorial boards, correspondence, donation boxes and management tasks also sit within the system. Connecting these activities with records and reporting extends the project beyond a patient-information tool into infrastructure for multiple parts of the charity.
